"The Two Gardens"

Reference: Song Of Solomon Chapter 6

The first garden was Eden. The figurehead was the first Adam. Adam broke his covenant with God. He could not keep the garden. He ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil instead of only eating of the tree of life. Therefore, all men and women were sent away from the garden.

The second garden is a new heaven and a new earth. The figurehead is the second Adam. He kept His covenant with God. He remains the tree of life. All who believe in Him are kept in this new garden eternally.

Let's read.

Song of Solomon 6:1-2 "Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. [2] My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies."

Today, He awaits those who have placed their trust in Him. In the Father's house are many mansions.

John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
'Any man or woman who has reciprocated the Love of God by their free will be with the lowly shepherd, the second Adam in the second garden, eternally.

We continue our reading:

Song of Solomon 6:3 "I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies"

The believer is in Christ, and Christ is in the believer. They have become one:
- One in love
- One light
- One blood
- One in word
- One in faith
- One spirit, the Holy Spirit

He became sin Who knew no sin, so that the believer may become the righteousness of God. This is the Love of God.

We continue our reading:

Song of Solomon 6:4-8 "Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. [5] Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. [6] Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them. [7] As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks. [8] There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number."

All nations, tongues, and ethnicities will come  to worship at the feet of the second Adam, the Lamb that was slain for the redemption of the world.

Revelation 15:4 "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."

For he has secured for the believer a new garden, the second garden through victory over the enemy, to whom the first Adam fell.

We conclude our reading:

Song of Solomon 6:9-13 "My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. [10] Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? [11] I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded. [12] Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. [13] Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies."

The lowly Shepherd, the second Adam, is a promise keeper. He promised to return to his bride, those who have placed their faith in His shed blood, those who have exited the blood of the first Adam into His blood. His first coming was promised and fulfilled, and so is His second coming.

Live expecting the lowly shepherd, the second Adam, to come for the believer. BELIEVE and confess Christ, the second Adam, as we've revealed Him from the first Adam. The second garden is promised, in Christ!
