“The Enemy Shall Not Triumph Over You”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 41

That child of God in Christ does not have a single thing to worry about. We are on our way to heaven, and enjoying the way there.

The child of God in Christ is ALREADY delivered from sin, sickness, and death.

Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Sin entered the world because of unbelief.

Faith (the opposite of unbelief) is the answer to sin. It must be faith in the Blood of Christ.

The Life (Holy Spirit) in the Blood of Christ is our faith. He leads us into all truth, cleaning every doubt and unbelief.

David prays for deliverance.

Let’s read:

Psalm 41:1-2 “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. [2] The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.”

Today, we know the Lord is NOT going to deliver us,  for He has ALREADY delivered us when He went to the Cross. We simply have to accept our deliverance by faith.

In unbelief of the finished work of Christ, many are still waiting for the Lord to deliver them. They are not aware they are living in unbelief of the finished work. Their Christian life and s full of worry, fear, and frustration.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 41:3-4 “The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. [4] I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.”

The Lord healed our soul and diseases when He went to the Cross. This was where Mercy was expressed.
Today. if we accept His finished shed Blood by faith, the Life in the Blood heals, strengthens, sanctifies daily.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 41:5-11 “Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? [6] And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. [7] All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. [8] An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. [9] Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. [10] But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. [11] By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.”

The child of God in Christ has no enemy. The Enemy of enemies (Satan) is defeated for you, and made an open shame.

Colossians 2:14-15 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

If faith in animal blood kept the Angel of death from the children of Israel in Egypt, how much does faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ keeps every enemy from you.
Greater is He that is in the child of God in Christ. Every enemy is afraid of the child of God whose faith is exclusively placed in the finished shed Blood of Christ.

Today, many children of God in Christ are in defeat  because of unbelief and doubt.

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 41:12-13 “And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. [13] Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.”

He that believes has passed from death unto life. Not tomorrow but today, now.

1 John 3:1-2 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Now are we the sons of God. Not tomorrow. NOW!

Let Faith in the Blood deliver you. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. He has ALREADY delivered, conquered, and provided, in Christ!
