“Utterance Of The Holy Spirit”
Reference: Psalms Chapter 29
Romans 8:26-27 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
The greatest tool of the believer is to pray in the Spirit. This is the voice of God manifesting through the believer.
1 Corinthians 14:2 “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”
This is not something we learn but a gift of God, an utterance not of us but of the Spirit, Who we receive the by baptism.
Matthew 3:11 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.”
Which was exactly what happened on the Day of Pentecost.
Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
The Voice of God through a man or woman makes the cedars of Lebanon skip like calves.
David writes.
Let’s read:
Psalm 29:1 “Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.”
The Holy Spirit speaking through a man or woman in an unknown tongue glorifies Heaven.
Acts 10:45-46 “And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. [46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.”
The Holy Spirit speaking through a man or woman in an unknown tongue gives them access to Heaven, and magnifies God.
We continue our reading:
Psalm 29:2-9 “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. [3] The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. [4] The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. [5] The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. [6] He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. [7] The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. [8] The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. [9] The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.”
The utterance of the Holy Spirit through a man or woman breaks bondages, principalities and power of darkness, shakes Heaven and Earth, completes the armor of God.
Ephesians 6:12-13,18 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. [13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. [18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
Praying ALWAYS in the Spirit in unknown tongue as the Spirit gives the utterance. This is the weapon the believer cannot set aside. A gift of God used to bypass our own ideas and plans when we pray.
We conclude our reading:
Psalm 29:10-11 “The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. [11] The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.”
With stammering lips, the utterance of the Spirit brings strength and rest to the soul of a man or woman.
Isaiah 28:11-12 “For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. [12] To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.”
Yet they would not hear.
Let the Spirit utter through us the mysteries of God. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Heaven is touched and charged by the Spirit of God speaking through a man or woman, in Christ!
