“God's love.”

Reference: Song Of Solomon Chapter 3

The gospel can be summed up into two words: God's love.

For God so loved the world that he became a man to shed his blood for the redemption of the world.
The new blood of God is the lLove of God. It's God's covenant to the whole world, to come out of the broken covenant of Adam, the first Adam. God could not cap this covenant without the shedding of blood. In love, God took on the form of a man to go to an old rugged cross to shed his blood. On his road to the cross, he was beaten and mocked by the people he was trying to redeem. His words were: Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do. This is the life of God. Man did not know what they were doing then, and they do not know what they are doing  now.

Today, God is seeking men and women whom he can express his love to. They are blinded by Satan through unbelief.

Let's read:
Song of Solomon 3:1-2 “By night on my bed, I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not. [2] I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.”

God is seeking lost men and women in the blood seat of Adam, but they will not come to him. They do not believe in Him.

John 5:43-44 “I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. [44] How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?”

That was the condition of man then and as a condition of man today.

We continue our reading:

Song of Solomon 3:3 "The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?"

God has always had a witness to bring his love to the world. He had a witness in Noah. He had a witness in all the major and minor prophets. He ultimately had a witness in Jesus Christ. He had a witness in all the disciples. Today, God has many witnesses around the world bringing the love of God to the world. The love of God expressed in the blood of God shed on a cross for all men to escape the blood of the first Adam into this new God's blood.

We continue our reading:

Song of Solomon 3:4 "It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me."

As a loving father, he would not let us go when we reciprocate that love that he first showed. When we accept his love through the shed blood on the cross, we enter into a new relationship, a new covenant, an eternal covenant. He holds on to us no matter what. The only way we come out of that covenant is to refuse to believe him.

We conclude our reading:

Song of Solomon 3:5-11 “I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. [6] Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant? [7] Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel. [8] They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night. [9] King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon. [10] He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem. [11] Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.”

The measureless love of God, the love that brought salvation to all men, the love that brought healing to all men, the love that brought life to all men, the love of God expressed in one man, Jesus Christ, walking on earth, displaying God to man. It was love that took him to the cross.

Receive the love of God. BELIEVE and confess Jesus Christ, the love of God as we've revealed Him from the first Adam. The embodiment of God's love, in Christ!
