"Faith is the blessing. Unbelief is the curse"

Reference: Ecclesiastes Chapter 9

An evil heart is the Adamic Nature. This is the nature that everyone born of man inherited from the first man, Adam. This is the nature which is enmity against God. This Adamic nature cannot follow the law of God and cannot please God. This nature is led by the five corruptive senses. God can only be pleased through faith in the blood of the second Adam. Faith, which is the sixth sense, is how God leads his children. Faith is living beyond the realm of the five senses. This is what turns on our spiritual light. This is how a man, a woman, walks after the Spirit of God.

Let's read:

Ecclesiastes 9:1-3 "For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them. [2] All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath. [3] This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead."

Walking after our five physical senses is death, is the mind of the carnal man or woman butvwalking after our sixth sense, which is faith, is life and life eternal. This is faith placed in the shed blood of the second Adam.

We continue our reading:

Ecclesiastes 9:4-6 "For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. [5] For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. [6] Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun."

We now know there is an afterlife because Jesus Christ has come to show us there is a resurrection.

We continue our reading:

Ecclesiastes 9:7-10 "Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. [8] Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. [9] Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. [10] Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."

To live is to be in Christ, by faith placed in his finished work of the cross. That is a joyful life. Any life outside of Christ is vanity.

We continue our reading:

Ecclesiastes 9:11 "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."

The unbeliever, the man or woman who remains in the blood of Adam, is living according to time and chance. The believer, the man or woman who has exited the blood of Adam into the blood of Christ, has their steps ordered by the Lord. They don't walk according to time and chance. They walk according to faith In the Son of God, who loved them and gave his life for them. if God has his eyes on a sparrow, how much more His child who is indwelled by the Spirit of God?

 We conckude our reading:

Ecclesiastes 9:12-18 "For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. [13] This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me: [14] There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: [15] Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. [16] Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard. [17] The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools. [18] Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good."

Where are the greatest men and women that ever lived? Where are all the war heroes? Where is IAdolf Hitler, Alexander the Great, and all the people who sought to conquer nations and even the world? There is only one thing that will ever remain, and that is the word of God. All wisdom comes out of the word of God. The wise is a man or woman who has placed their faith in the Word of God. They walk contrary to the first Adam, who took his faith out of the Word of God. This word of God directs all the children of the first Adam to believe in the shed blood of the second Adam, to exit the blood of the first Adam. This is the wisdom of God.

God can only help man according to their faith. Mary believed the word of God, and it was a blessing to her. Eve rejected the word of God, and it was a curse to her. Faith is the blessing. Unbelief is the curse.

Walk after the wisdom of God. BELIEVE and confess Christ, the last Adam, as we've revealed him from the first Adam. His eyes are on the believer, in Christ!
