“The Three Dimensions Of God”

Reference: Job Chapter 23

God has revealed Himself in three dimensions. He has revealed Himself as Son, Father, and Holy Spirit.

As God the Son, He revealed Himself in the physical dimension. He could actually be physically seen and touched.

As God the Father, He is not in a physical dimension. He cannot be physically seen or touched.

As God the Holy Spirit, He is not in a physical dimension. He has manifested Himself like the Burning Bush, Pillar of Fire, Shekinar Glory, Cloven Tongues of Fire. He stays in the Spiritual dimension.

If you spray perfume on your body, the perfume will follow you all day long. People around you will not see the perfume because it’s in a different dimension. Their only means of relating to the perfume is through the sense of smell.

So is God in the Spiritual dimension. He follows us all day but cannot be seen, touched or felt. Our only means of relating to Him is through our sense of faith.

Job is searching for God.

Let’s read:

Job 23:1-3 “Then Job answered and said, [2] Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning. [3] Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!”

God was right next to Job. He heard everything Job said. He was in the Spiritual dimension. Our only means of relating to God in the Spiritual dimension is through our sense of faith.

Hebrews 11:3,6 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. [6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

God is next to us in the Person of the Holy Spirit.. He cannot be seen or touched. We can only relate to Him by believing He is there. If we believe, He will become as real to us as a perfume is to our nostrils.

We continue our reading:

Job 23:4-9 “I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. [5] I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. [6] Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me. [7] There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge. [8] Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: [9] On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:”

Job was using the wrong senses. He was using his physical senses.
God in the Spiritual dimension cannot be perceived by our physical senses, He can only be believed.

We continue our reading:

Job 23:10-11 “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. [11] My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.”

Job kept His way by faith. He placed his faith in the requirement of God which was the blood sacrifice. It was the same requirement for Abel. It is the same requirement for you and I today.

We conclude our reading:

Job 23:12-17 “Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. [13] But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. [14] For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him. [15] Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. [16] For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me: [17] Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.”

God was next to Job all through his trial. He could not be perceived physically by Job just as we cannot perceive Him physically today.

John 14:17 “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

We can only see (relate) to Him by faith. We relate to God Spiritually and not physically.

John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Today, we have His Written Word which helps our faith.

Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

His Written Word helps us to relate to Him in the Spiritual dimension by simply believing.

He is next to us in the Spiritual dimension. He hears every word, sees every act, and travels through every challenge with us.

Daniel 3:25 “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

He manifest Himself in different dimensions.
Today, He is in the Person of the Holy Spirit.

Let the Word of God heighten your faith. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. We relate to Him only through faith. The unknown-world to the world is alive to us by faith, in Christ!
