DEVOTION 124: “God Speaks from the Mercy Seat ” coming out of Num. 7
God is forever the same. He is all knowing, and does not do things one way and changes to another way.
If God saved men and women through the blood sacrifice by way of faith, God is bound to save everybody else who expresses the same faith in that same sacrifice.
If God heal the sick by faith in the stripes of Jesus Christ, God is bound to heal everyone who expresses faith in the stripes of Jesus Christ.
God has only one way, and that way is the altar.
God has only one problem with man, and that problem is sin (unbelief).
The altar, which is a type of the Cross of Jesus Christ, is the only place God will meet man because it’s the only place where sin is purged.
Every man, woman, boy or girl has to come through the Altar to meet God.
Let’s read:
Numbers 7:1-11 “And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them; [2] That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered: [3] And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle. [4] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, [5] Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service. [6] And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites. [7] Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service: [8] And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. [9] But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders. [10] And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar. [11] And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.”
Job was an altar builder. Abraham was an altar builder. Isaac was an altar builder. Jacob was an altar builder. Moses is asked to dedicate these altars. David was an altar builder. Jesus Christ carried the ultimate altar of the Cross.
We cannot relate to God any other way except through the altar.
We will only know God through the Cross. This is where we link or become one with God. When sin is purged, and the sinner becomes one with the Savior, because their sins have been washed by the blood of the Savior.

Nobody was exempted. Every tribe had to be represented at the altar.
Today, nobody is exempted, every person has to come to the Cross to be pardoned.

[87] All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve. Twelve tribes, twelve scarcities, and then God speaks.
The Word always follow faith in the Sacrifice.
Let the Word of God come to you through exclusive faith in the Sacrifice. BELIEVE, and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. If the requirement is met, He is bound to speak from the Mercy seat, in Christ!
