“Every Enemy Under Your Feet”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 110

The Enemy of unbelief is under the feet of the believer who is one with Christ.
The Enemy of sin is under the feet of the believer who is one with Christ.
The Enemy of sickness and disease is under the feet of the believer who is one with Christ.
The Enemy of death is under the feet of the believer who is one with Christ.

Every enemy is under the feet of the believer who has crossed over from the bloodline of Adam to the bloodline of Christ.

This was the promise made to David.

Let’s read:

Psalm 110:1 “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

He made His enemies His footstool on the Cross.

Colossians 2:14-15 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

In our identification with Christ, we triumph over the enemy in our new bloodline.

Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

For we have given up our old bloodline of Adam for a new bloodline in Christ.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 110:2-4 “The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. [3] Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. [4] The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.”

He is the Rod of Zion. The Forever Priest. Has no beginning and no end, after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:5-10 “So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. [6] As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. [7] Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; [8] Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; [10] Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.”

An Eternal High Priest!

We continue our reading:

Psalm 110:5-6 “The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. [6] He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.”

Jesus Christ is the Right Hand of God. He shall judge all nations.

John 5:21-22 “For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. [22] For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:”

Jesus Christ the Son of God is our judge. He shall soon judge me and you.

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 110:7 “He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.”

We can only drink with our heads lifted. Jesus Christ is lifted far above every name, person, position, and place.

Ephesians 1:19-22 “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, [21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: [22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.”

The Church, the body of Christ, those who have been born into Christ, have all things under their feet.

1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

Be born into the body of Christ. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Judge of all as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. All enemies under our feet, in Christ!
