“Afterlife”

Reference: Ecclesiastes Chapter 6

In one developing country, they imported artificially made corn to feed their people. The corn was not enough, so they will mix their own homegrown corn with the imported corn to feed the country. The homegrown corn and the artificially made corn looked alike. You couldn't tell any difference. They even tasted alike.  One day, a man asked one of the engineers : How do you tell which corn is artificially made and which corn is homegrown, since they both look alike, taste alike, and have a similar smell? The engineer answered, "There is no way to tell unless you plant or bury them in the ground." The engineer continue that the artificial ones will not grow. Only the homegrown, organic ones will grow. That's how you tell the difference
If God, who made corn, provided after life for corn, how much more for man, who He made in His image?
Two people may come out of the same womb. Act alike, talk alike, go to school alike, but they will have a different afterlife based on their decision on the blood of God, the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, and His work of redemption on the cross. There is an afterlife unto eternal life and an afterlife unto damnation. The destination is based on our faith, our light of faith.

Life on Earth is only a shadow of the life to come. The resurrection of the Lamb of God, the blood of God, Jesus Christ confirms an afterlife.

In the book of Matthew of the New Testament , chapter 27, verses 51 and 52, the veil of the temple rent from top to bottom after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The graves were opened and many bodies of the saints arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared unto many. This confirms an afterlife. TheJewish Tanakh, In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses died and was buried in the land of Moab in Beth-Peor before the children of Israel could enter into the promised land. About 800 years later, in Matthew chapter 17, we see Moses standing on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus Christ, speaking with Jesus Christ. This confirms life after death of the physical body. After we are freed from the blood and the body provided by the First Adam.

Let's read:

Ecclesiastes 6:1-3 "There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: [2] A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease. [3] If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he."

The only burial worthy is to be buried in Christ, to be buried in the blood of the second Adam. If a man or woman is buried in the blood of the first Adam, then an untimely birth is even better. They would be better if they were not born at all.

We continue our reading:

Ecclesiastes 6:4-6 "For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness. [5] Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other. [6] Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?"

All men and women go to one of two places:
1. An afterlife of eternal life with the Creator
2. An afterlife of separation from the Creator into damnation

We continue our reading:

Ecclesiastes 6:7-8 "All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled. [8] For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?"

The wise is the individual who lives with afterlife in view. They have removed their life out of the blood of the first Adam and placed it in the blood of the second Adam by faith. The fool is the individual who remains in the blood of Adam through unbelief in the blood of the second Adam.

We conclude our reading:

Ecclesiastes 6:9-12 "Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit. [10] That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he. [11] Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better? [12] For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?"

David said, "When I walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Death is only a shadow. It's not permanent. There is life after we are freed of this body through physical death.

Live with afterlife in view. BELIEVE and confess Christ, the blood of God as we revealed Him from the first Adam. After life of eternity with the Creator, is in Christ!
