“God’s Provided Way”
Reference: Psalms Chapter 54
God has Already provided a way. He already provided a way before Abraham could come to the mountain.
Genesis 22:7-8 “And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? [8] And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.”
The Way of God is the Blood sacrifice.
This is the Way of Salvation.
This is the Way of healing.
This is the Way of protection.
This is the Way of provision.
This is the Way of life.
Any other way is death.
The Lord fought for David because his faith was in the Way (blood sacrifice) of God.
Let’s read:
Psalm 54:1 “Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.”
The Name that saves is Jesus Christ.
The Strength in the Name is the Holy Spirit.
The moment an individual receives Jesus Christ, they are strengthened by the Holy Spirit. For He is the Spirit of LIFE in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
The LIFE comes out of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The moment the blood vessels of Jesus Christ was broken, the Life (Holy Spirit) out of the Blood became available to the whole world. It is up to individuals to simply accept what Jesus Christ has done on their behalf, then the Holy Spirit will immediately come to their aid, to unite them to the Body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”
It’s by one Holy Spirit.
We continue our reading:
Psalm 54:2-5 “Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. [3] For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. [4] Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. [5] He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.”
The BELIEVER does not have to fight any enemy. The BELIEVER has to accept the Way God has defeated every enemy, which is the Way of the Blood sacrifice.
It is the Blood that fights for the BELIEVER.
Exodus 12:12-14 “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. [13] And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. [14] And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.”
The BELIEVER was never to fight the Enemy of death but to simply paint the animal blood on the doorpost.
Today, if the Blood of Jesus Christ is on the doorpost of our heart by faith, the Enemy will have to pass us over every time without a fight.
We conclude our reading:
Psalm 54:6-7 “I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. [7] For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.”
The faith of David was in the animal sacrifice and rightfully so. That was the Way of God.
Today, we no longer sacrifice animals.
God has provided His Lamb (Jesus Christ) as the Sacrifice for us. We simply have to accept this Sacrifice by faith. This is the ultimate Way of God.
Go by God’s provided way. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. God has one provided way, and that is the Way of the Blood sacrifice, in Christ!
