“The Greatest Disease, The Greatest Healing”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 16

Healing is bringing a situation from unrest to rest, from a dis-ease state to an ease state.

Healing is in three phases. You have the remedy phase , the natural phase , and the Divine phase.

For instance, if an individual fractures a bone in the arm, they enter the first phase of healing when a physician reset the broken bone and place the arm in a cast. The process does not heal the broken arm but provides stabilization.

The second stage of healing is where our own blood circulates to the broken bone causing the bone to fuse back together.

God by nature has ALREADY provided intelligence in the body to heal itself. The life of the flesh is in the blood.

Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

For example, if there is a cut on any part of the body, by natural intelligence, the body will send clotting factors, which are in the blood, to the exact body location to stop the bleeding.

The life (blood) circulating in the individual provides life to the broken bone to heal itself.

By natural  intelligence, the broken bone is able to fuse back together. The broken skin is able to fuse back together in a form of a scar. The growth of the scar tissue is the body’s natural intelligence to heal itself.

The third phase of healing is Divine. This is when healing is not provided by the blood of the individual but by Life in the Blood of Christ.

Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Jesus Christ, by His shed blood on the Cross, has ALREADY provided healing to whosoever would believe.

We receive the Life in His shed blood by faith (believing). The Life in His Blood by our faith comes immediately when we accept the healing that has ALREADY been provided.

Jesus Christ; by His shed blood, has already provided healing to the greatest disease on earth, which is death.

John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

This provision comes by faith (believing) in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Disease is a penalty of sin. Before there was sin, there was no disease. Therefore when sin is hit in the head by the Life of the shed blood of Christ, the life (evil spirit) of diseases dies with it.

Life is in His Blood. Because He rose from the dead, we are guaranteed to rise from the dead because we have the Life in His blood.

David writes about the resurrection of Christ.

Let’s read:

Psalm 16:1-10 “Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. [2] O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; [3] But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. [4] Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. [5] The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. [6] The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. [7] I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. [8] I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. [9] Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. [10] For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.”

The Holy One (Jesus Christ) did not see corruption for He rose from the dead three days after His death.

Acts 2:29-32 “Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. [30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; [31] He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. [32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.”

Because He resurrected, those who have received His life (the Spirit in His blood) by faith, shall also resurrect.

Acts 13:33-37 “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. [34] And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. [35] Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. [36] For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: [37] But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.”

Because we have received His life out of His shed blood, we (the corruptible) will put on incorruption.

1 Corinthians 15:42-54 “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: [43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: [44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. [45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. [46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. [47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. [48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. [49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. [50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. [54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

We have passed from death (the greatest disease) unto life (the greatest healing).

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

The path eternal life which comes by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Let the Word of God bring you life. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Life is in His shed blood, in Christ!
