“The Word Of The Lord Is Perfect”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 19

There is nothing like the Word of God. The Word of God creates, protects, heals spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

When we eat an apple, we do not see the Vitamin C in the apple but the Vitamin C becomes part of our immune system.  Likewise, the Word of God contains healing properties that brings spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.

The Word of God is the only perfect prescription.

David writes.

Let’s read:

Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

God created Heaven and Earth by His Word.

Genesis 1:1,3,6,9,12,14 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. [6] And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. [9] And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. [12] And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. [14] And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.”

God said it, and from nothing became the Heavens and the Earth.

He still speaks today and death comes to life, sadness turns to joy, storms and turmoil turn to peace.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 19:2-4 “Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [3] There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. [4] Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.”

Today, the Sun is resting on the Word of God. Jesus Christ is this Word of God.

By Him does all things consist, including the planetary system.

Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

The Heavens and Earth were created by Jesus Christ the Word of God. This Word of God is God.

John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

He causes the sea wave to stop at the seashore.

He allowed the sea wave to pass the seashore once during the time of Noah. He has promised not to repeat it.

Genesis 9:11 “And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”

Indicating He is in charge of the sea.

For there to be a sea, there has to be a Creator of the sea.

Creation declares there is a Creator.

For there to be a Heaven and Earth there has to be the Creator.

The Creator has revealed Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ.

The Creator has revealed Himself as the Word.

The Creator has revealed Himself as the Holy Spirit.

He is one God, revealing Himself in different dimensions.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 19:5-7 “Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. [6] His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. [7] The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”

The Word of God is perfect. It is the only path to God.

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The perfect Word of God in Person is Jesus Christ. He converts the soul, and makes the simple wise.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 19:8-10 “The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. [9] The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. [10] More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

More to be desired of Jesus Christ the Word of God than gold. He is sweeter to the soul than honeycomb to the lip.

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 19:11-14 “Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. [12] Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. [13] Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. [14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”

The words of our mouth, our thoughts, and meditations of our spirit are acceptable when they line up with His perfect Word.

Let’s say yes where His Word says yes, and no where His Word says no. BELIEVE and confess Christ the perfect Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. All things consist, in Christ!
