“The Two Seals ”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 11

There is the seal of righteousness and the seal of wickedness.

The righteous simply believes, and is sealed. The wicked does not believe and is also sealed.

John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

The righteous is sealed-in by God unto their final destination.

Ephesians 1:3-5,13 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: [5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, [13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

The wicked is sealed-out by God for destruction.

Hebrews 10:26-27 “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.”

Upon the wicked shall God rain fire and brimstone. David writes.

Let’s read:

Psalm 11:1-6 “In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? [2] For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. [3] If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? [4] The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. [5] The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. [6] Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.”

The end of the wicked (unbeliever) is damnation.

John 5:29 “And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

The righteous has no end. The righteous has eternal life which is the life of God.

The wicked is not so.

Revelation 21:7-8 “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 11:7 “For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.”

God does not want anyone to perish.

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

We perish simply because of unbelief of the Word of God.

Let faith in the Son of God seal us in unto righteousness. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. He seals-out the wicked (unbeliever)and seals-in the righteous (believer), in Christ!
