“His love is a well of living waters.”

Reference: Song Of Solomon Chapter 4

Jesus Christ, the second Adam is the fountain of living waters, the water of life, the source of life. He is the gift of God, the love of God, and the giver of living waters.

John 4:10 "Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water."

That living water is his blood. We drink this living water by turning on our light of faith and placing that faith in his blood, becoming one with him, escaping death in the blood of the first Adam for eternal life in the blood of the second Adam.

This is the Living Water that quenched every thirst from the blood of the first Adam.

John 7:37-38 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

He could only provide this living water as the Lamb, the Lamb of God that was slain. This living water is the solution to every problem of man. The problem was the blood of the first Adam, and the solution is the blood of the second Adam. This is the living water that will wipe away every tear and restore man back to God.

Revelation 7:17 "For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

The living love of God.

Let's read:

Song of Solomon 4:1-7 "Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead. [2] Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them. [3] Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks. [4] Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. [5] Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies. [6] Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. [7] Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. "

The first man was made in the image of God, spotless, with no sin in him but Satan sold him unbelief, and he bought it. Today, God is bringing us back through His living water, the blood of the second Adam. This is the Love of God.

We continue our reading:

Song of Solomon 4:8-15 "Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards. [9] Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck. [10] How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices! [11] Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. [12] A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. [13] Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard, [14] Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: [15] A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon."

Streams of blood flowing from Calvary's mountain. The source of redemption for all the fallen sons and daughters of the first Adam. God becoming a man and going on a cross, shedding his blood for the redemption of the world This is Love, the Love of God that cannot be comprehended with the physical senses.

We conclude our reading:

Song of Solomon 4:16 "Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits."

The call remains the same: Come unto Him, all who are weary and heavy laden, and drink from this fountain of love, the fountain of living waters. This is the only place of refuge out of the blood of fallen Adam.

He knocks on the door of your heart today. BELIEVE and confess Christ, the second Adam, as we revealed Him from the first Adam. The ever-flowing fountain of living water, in Christ!
