"Satisfaction"

Reference: Proverbs Chapter 27

Nothing can satisfy the individual who is born out of the union between a man and a woman. Look at it from this perspective. When Adam was sent out of the Garden of Eden to go and till the ground for survival, there was nothing Adam could do to satisfy him. So is every man or woman in the blood seed of Adam. The only thing that could satisfy Adam is to be brought back to his original position before his broken covenant with God.

Nothing in this world will satisfy us. The only way to be satisfied is to be removed from the blood of the fallen Adam into the blood of the last Adam, the blood of God.

The writer of the proverb declares, "Nothing satisfies."

Let's read:
Proverbs 27:1-6 "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. [2] Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. [3] A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both. [4] Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy? [5] Open rebuke is better than secret love. [6] Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."

Adam and Eve had a faithful friend in God, but Eve was deceived by the charming words of the enemy, the serpent.
A faithful friend is the one who always point you to God and His word.

We continue our reading:

Proverbs 27:7-9 "The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. [8] As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place. [9] Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel."

A hearty counsel is a counsel that stems from the Holy Spirit. This is a counsel that comes through the man or woman who is in Christ, the Holy Spirit counseling others through them. This is what it means to have the light of God, the light of the world, shining through you to others.

We continue our reading:

Proverbs 27:10-19 "Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off. [11] My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me. [12] A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished. [13] Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman. [14] He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him. [15] A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike. [16] Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself. [17] Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. [18] Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured. [19] As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man."

The heart is desperately wicked. Who can know it? As long as an individual remains in the blood seed of fallen Adam, the heart remains wicked. They have the same heart as the next natural man because they are in the same blood. We receive a new heart, a transformed heart, when we turn on our light of faith and exit the blood of fallen Adam and enter into the blood of God, the new Adam. Until then, our heart remains just as wicked as the next man.

We continue our reading:

Proverbs 27:20 "Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied."

There was nothing that Adam could do to bring him satisfaction, and that applies to all men and women in the blood seed of fallen Adam. The only thing that will satisfy Adam is to be reconnected with God, to be placed back in his original position. This is what God has provided for us through the new blood, the new Adam. We receive satisfaction when we come out of the blood of the fallen Adam into the blood of God, the new Adam. Nothing else in this world will satisfy a man or a woman.

We conclude our reading:

Proverbs 27:21-27 "As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise. [22] Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him. [23] Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. [24] For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? [25] The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. [26] The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. [27] And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens."

Not enough money, fame, accolades, achievements, or possessions can satisfy a man or woman. The cause of dissatisfaction is the old blood, and the solution to dissatisfaction is the new blood.

Exit the old blood of fallenAdam by turning on your light of faith. BELIEVE and confess Christ, the new blood of God, as we revealed Him from the first Adam. Satisfaction is only, in Christ!
