“The Root Of The Righteous”

Reference: Proverbs Chapter 12

There are only two roots. We have the root of the First Adam and the root of the second Adam.

Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

He is the blood of God, the root of God.

Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.”

He is the sure root of God.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

A man or woman is either rooted in the blood of the First Adam or the blood of the Second Adam, depending on their faith (light).

Every child by default is born rooted in the blood of the First Adam. The root is changed only by faith placed in the blood sacrifice of the Second Adam.

The fruit of the branch depends directly on the root.

James 3:11-15,17-18 “Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? [12] Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. [13] Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. [14] But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. [15] This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. [17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. [18] And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.”

There is earthly wisdom from the blood of the First Adam, and heavenly wisdom from the blood of the Second Adam.

The righteous is the man or woman rooted in the blood of God.

Let’s read:

Proverbs 12:1-3 “Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. [2] A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. [3] A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.”

The blood of Jesus Christ is the root of the righteous. The blood of Jesus Christ is the immovable rock.

When a man or woman is established in Christ, they have eternal life. It’s life everlasting. A life which course cannot be changed or moved.

We continue our reading:

Proverbs 12:4-12 “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. [5] The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. [6] The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. [7] The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. [8] A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. [9] He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. [10] A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. [11] He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. [12] The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.”

Jesus Christ is the root of the righteous. Every righteous fruit comes directly out of the True Vine.

John 15:1,4-6 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. [6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Without the True Vine, we bear corrupt fruits; fruits of the First Adam. We remain separated from God.

We continue our reading:

Proverbs 12:13-21 “The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. [14] A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. [16] A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. [17] He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. [18] There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. [19] The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. [20] Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. [21] There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.”

The just man or woman, the one who has exited the First Adam’s blood and entered the Second Adam’s blood, has escaped every evil.

Satan has no means of entering the blood of Christ. None.

We conclude our reading:

Proverbs 12:22-28 “Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. [23] A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. [24] The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. [25] Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. [26] The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them. [27] The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. [28] In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.”

There is no death in the blood of Christ. Not even a sting.

The choice is clear. It’s either the root of the First Adam or the root of the Second Adam. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Second Adam as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Sin loses its power, disease loses its grip, or even death loses its hold, in Christ!
