“Praises To His Glory”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 149

We sing unto the Lamb a new song. It’s a song of praise. A song of Salvation, a song of redemption. For we have crossed the Red Sea of death unto life.

The Palmist declares His praises.

Let’s read:

Psalm 149:1 “Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.”

The congregation cannot help but praise the Lamb that was slain to bring us life. We were dead in our sins but life came through the slain Lamb of God.

Praise His Holy Name!

We continue our reading:

Psalm 149:2-4 “Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. [3] Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. [4] For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.”

Salvation spiritually, emotionally, and physically. He has made us whole. In harmony with God.

Praise His Holy Name!

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 149:5-9 “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. [6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; [7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; [8] To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; [9] To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.”

The Saints are the sanctified ones. We are sanctified only by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Let the blood of Christ sanctify you. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Savior as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Praise Him for Who He is, and what He has done, in Christ!
