“The Lord of Host”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 24

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

If we open our hearts door, the King of Glory shall come in, and give us everlasting life.

Who is the King of Glory?

David asks.

Let’s read:

Psalm 24:1-4 “The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. [2] For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. [3] Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? [4] He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”

We do not come to Him in the Garden (Holy Place) any other way. It was sin that put Adam and Eve out of the Garden. It will take perfection to bring anyone back into the Garden. This perfection comes only by the Blood.

Hebrews 10:12-14 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; [13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. [14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

He has perfected FOREVR!

We continue our reading:

Psalm 24:5-8 “He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. [6] This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. [7] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [8] Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.”

If we will lift up the doors of our hearts, Jesus Christ the King of Glory will come and live in us eternally. By this, every enemy becomes our footstool, every battle defeated. For the Lord, mighty in battle, has defeated every foe that we can think of.

He has DEFEATED satan, sin, disease and death.

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 24:9-10 “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.”

He comes not alone but as the Lord of Host.

Joshua 5:13-15 “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? [14] And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? [15] And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.”

And Joshua did so!

If we will take off our shoes by opening our heart door to Him, like He did for Joshua, every wall shall tumble down.

Let in the Lord of Host. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. The Caption of the Host of the Lord, in Christ!
